The Annual Gala Dinner will be hosted at Moda Events, Portside Wharf on Friday the 26th October.
Gala Dinner is the social event of the season, bringing together friends, lecturers, and members of the legal community to celebrate the year that has passed, and all that has been achieved. This year is shaping up to be extra special, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Griffith University Law Society.

Classmate of Shaun Micallef, and fellow comedian, Alex promises to bring the house down with his witty commentary on ?Law Culture in the 21st Century?.
With over 25 years of experience, Law Council Director Alexander Ward is a barrister at Edmund Barton Chambers in Adelaide, South Australia. He practices in civil litigation with an emphasis on serious accident cases, fraud cases, cases involving complicated liability issues, and military law. Mr. Ward is also currently a legal officer in the Royal Australian Navy Reserves, Chair of the Law Council?s Legal Education Committee, and on the board of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.
