CelticFest Warwick is a volunteer-run community event celebrating the rich Celtic heritage of the Southern Downs, Queensland. It runs from 3 October 2025 – 5 October 2025, with the main ticketed CelticFest event at the Warwick Showgrounds on Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October. CelticFest’s CelticFringe partners will run separately organised and ticketed CelticFringe events from Friday 3 October to Sunday 5 October.

CelticFest Warwick celebrates the rich Irish and Scottish cultural heritage of Queensland's Southern Downs. Irish and Scottish settlement in the region since the 1850s means that Warwick has around 40% higher Irish and Scottish ancestry compared to the rest of Australia. We can genuinely #getourcelticon!

The main event, CelticFest, is a biennial Celtic Gathering that takes over the Warwick Showgrounds. It's a Celtic event with a twist of country! Enjoy a jam-packed program that includes Irish and Scottish music on the Main Stage, the Australian Highland Games Championships (heavy events) in the Main Arena, Medieval Arena with workshops, re-enactments and Viking combats and battles; camp-drafting displays, massed and roaming pipe bands, Irish and Highland dancing, lost trades, Celtic themed markets, food and drinks, wandering entertainers, and Celtic creatures including magnificent Highland Cows, Clydesdales, and Irish wolfhounds!

While in the Southern Downs, visitors are welcomed to immerse themselves to #getyourcelticon in the contemporary Celtic culture of the region's towns, villages and breathtaking natural landscapes. Separately organised and ticketed/free CelticFringe events will be staged by CelticFest partners pre and post the main festival, at venues and locations in Warwick and around the Southern Downs.

What's included in your CelticFest tickets?

WEEKEND PASS
Entry to CelticFest at the Warwick Showgrounds on Saturday from 10am-11pm, including CelticFest Party Night from 5pm Saturday (The Gathering Irish band headlines the Main Stage, Irish ceili in The Pavilion).

SATURDAY PASS (DAY AND EVENING)
Entry to CelticFest at the Warwick Showgrounds on Saturday from 5pm-11pm, for CelticFest Party Night! Comprising The Gathering Irish band headlining the Main Stage, and Irish ceili (Celtic bushdance) in The Pavilion.

SATURDAY NIGHT PASS
Entry to CelticFest at the Warwick Showgrounds on Saturday from 5pm-11pm, for CelticFest Party Night! Comprising The Gathering Irish band headlining the Main Stage, and Irish ceili (Celtic bushdance) in The Pavilion.

SUNDAY PASS
Entry to CelticFest at the Warwick Showgrounds on Sunday from 9am-4pm.

CAMPING PASS
One campsite for three nights camping at the Warwick Showgrounds - Friday 3 October, Saturday 4 October, and Sunday 5 October.

Notes for campers:
  1. The camping fee is a site only fee.
  2. All campers are required to also purchase a CelticFest Warwick weekend ticket, and to show this ticket on admission to the Warwick Showgrounds.
  3. Powered sites are readily available and will be allocated by the operator of camping at the Warwick Showgrounds, the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society, on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites will be allocated on arrival according to campers' requirements.
  4. Camping will be managed by the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society. All inquiries about camping should be directed to the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society on (07) 4661 9060 or info@warwickrodeo.com.au.
  5. All inquiries about CelticFest camping ticketing should be directed to help@iwannaticket.com.au.

Companion cards
Full-priced ticket holders who require a companion card ticket can send a copy of their general admission ticket along with a valid companion card to help@iwannaticket.com.au.
